Bone deficiencies
An implant needs a good quality and quantity of bone to withstand the dynamic forces it is subject to in the mouth. When teeth have been lost or when there have been gum problems this can lead to lead to a loss of bone. There are procedures to compensate for this. They are performed during the operation to set the implant, but do increase the overall cost:

Multiple Implants
Where multiple adjacent teeth are to be restored this may be done using a bridge. In this case you may not need one implant for each tooth.  Replacing three teeth using a combination of implants and a bridge would cost a total of only 2480€ and not the 3320€ that 3 seperate restorations would cost.
